On Monday 27th April we had our first two matches as a netball team playing Derby High School and St George’s School. We started off with a player short but still tried our best and learnt a lot about how to work together as a team. Our first match was against Derby High School and although we played well they were faster and had the advantage of an extra player and we lost 6-0. We then had a quick break and team talk and it was back onto the court for our next match against St George’s school. This match was a lot harder as they were so much taller than us and faster too, we tried our very best but unfortunately lost 12-0. This didn’t keep our spirits down though as it’s the taking part that counts and we have been training during lunch times for our next match against Ashgate.
